This Calathea is known for its dark green foliage with light green and silver markings on one side and a deep red-purple colour on the underneath, as well as being an air purifying plant. It is part of the prayer plant family, because its leaves fold together at night like praying hands.

This plant likes bright but indirect sunlight. Water weekly, waiting for the top 2 inches of soil to dry out in between each water. It also likes humidity so mist regularly.
