How should I store my Lemax when it’s not on display?
Almost all larger Lemax pieces are shipped to you in a cardboard box with Styrofoam inserts which are the perfect Storage solution. Smaller pieces such as figurines are best to be wrapped in bubble wrap to help avoid breakages.
Are Lemax pieces scaled to a specific size?
Every Lemax piece varies, but generally they tend to be in the 1/48 to 1/64 scale range, with a few exceptions as well. Be sure to always check the dimensions to find the best new addition to your Lemax Village.
What is the best way to get my Lemax Figurines and accessories to stand up on my snow blanket?
Use a small amount of sticky tack to hold your Lemax figurines, trees, lampposts and other accessories in place.
Should I use real snow in my Lemax display?
No. Real snow will melt, which will cause electrical shorts in your home, and water damage to your Lemax display. Snow blankets or artificial scatter snow is a great way to showcase your Lemax without causing damage
How should I clean dust off my Lemax village?
You are best to clear dust of your Lemax display by using a small soft brush or can of compressed air from a distance. Be gentle to avoid breaking any smaller details on your display.
What is the difference between a Lemax "Sights & Sounds" piece and Lemax lighted building?
Sights & Sounds pieces can include animated elements or include a song or tune or relevant noise for the set. Every Sights & Sound piece is different, so be sure to take a look and see what each one does. Standard lighted buildings usually contain an internal bulb to give the appearance someone is home.
Can I use my Lemax outside?
No. Lemax is designed to be used indoors only and is not suitable for outdoor use.
How do I hide all the wires in my Lemax Village display?
If you are using a foam base then you can carve in trenches to help hide them away. If you are planning on using a snow blanket, scatter snow or smaller stones in your village, then wires can be hidden underneath that. Wires on Lemax products are typically white in colour, so a snow blanket is a great solution to hiding wires.
What should I do if a small piece breaks off my Lemax piece?
Carefully apply a tiny drop of super glue or specialized ceramic glue depending on what your Lemax piece is made from; be sure to carefully follow the instructions found on the glue packaging. Always avoid hot glue guns as it can get bulky quickly and will likely not look good on the delicate Lemax pieces.
