Longacres is a family run business with a fantastic reputation for providing bespoke, tailored and high quality wedding flowers. We started supplying flowers for weddings in the local area over 25 years ago; now as our team has expanded, so has our talent, vision and expertise.

We now have 6 separate sites across the south east of England and each has its own floristry department and cut flower shop with the freshest blooms delivered straight from the Dutch markets. We stock many types of flowers, from exotics to seasonal, and an array of different foliage’s. Having our multiple sites allows us to provide and deliver wedding flowers across counties such as Essex, Kent, Central London, Middlesex, Surrey and further afield if requested!

Our florists understand just how important your wedding day is and we all know that every wedding is different. We can create weddings in any colour, style or theme. Classical elegance, romantic country garden, bohemian or rustic; we will work closely with you and take the time to understand your unique style and personality, bringing together a variety of flowers in all different textures and colours that will perfectly compliment your special day.

We cater for large, lavish weddings as well as small, intimate celebrations. Whether you are holding your ceremony in a church, restaurant, castle, hotel, barn or marquee, we will design your flowers to suit your venue. We can create everything from the bridal bouquet to buttonholes, flower crowns to table centres, archways and more.

Initial Consultation

Available seven days a week in our private wedding studio. You will meet with your designated florist in a calm and quiet atmosphere to discuss your requirements, explore flower options and browse our portfolios.

Receiving Your Quote

We will send you a quote outlining all the requirements discussed, with a full breakdown of costing. Don’t worry if you haven’t confirmed all of the details at this point; it’s just a base to start from and we can amend or add elements as we move closer to your big day. All we need at this point is a small booking fee to secure your date, with the balance being settled at least one month prior to your wedding.

We Stay in Touch

We will have as many consultations with you as necessary, ensuring every detail is covered so you have a clear understanding of what to anticipate on your special day. The team are on hand right through to the delivery of your wedding to answer any questions or queries and to help take away any last minute panic, stress or worry.

On The Day

We deliver your flowers and upon request, skilfully style and dress the venue to transform your dreams into real life. We can organise as many deliveries as you require, for example to your home, ceremony and/or reception venue. If you would prefer to collect your flowers this can be arranged.

Make your special day truly unforgettable with our wedding hire service. We offer an extensive range of high quality décor to create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding. From archways to cylinder vases, blossom trees to tea lights, our experienced team will help style your venue and select the perfect pieces to add those finishing touches to your special day.

Hiring not only saves on costs but it also helps moderate the number of items you’ll have to find homes for after your wedding. We are always open to expanding our collection, so if you have your heart set on something we don’t currently hold, please do let us know and if we feel we can use the item again we can look at adding it into our collection.

To reserve your desired item, we take a deposit at the time of booking, which is fully refundable. This ensures the product you select is secured for you. The deposit will be fully refunded once the items are returned safely. We ask that the items come back in the same condition they are left in, and your hire can be for up to five days.

Family is at the heart of Longacres. There are now 3 generations of Longs working together across our floral and horticultural business. Longacres began as a nursery, growing runner beans and tomatoes for sale to shops in the local area. We also grew chrysanthemum, dahlia and gladioli, which gave us an early insight into the increasing popularity of cut flowers. My sister Julie opened the Longacres floristry department in 1990. Every day began with a 4am trip to the flower markets, and a dash back to have them ready for the shop opening! As the department flourished and our reputation grew, we expanded the range of floral services to include weddings. We now offer an unbeatable range; fresh flowers arrive five days a week, and we have access to blooms from all over the world.

Our team of knowledgeable, friendly, fully qualified florists have extensive experience (our longest-serving florist has worked at Longacres for over 30 years!) and they all understand how important a role your flowers will play on your special day.

We take things very personally when it comes to our wedding clients. You are not simply customers, but rather a couple choosing us to be a part of your special day.
