Pink Sound is in the Darwin Hybrid series, a cross between the Single Late and Fosteriana types. The results are very large tulips with strong stems and large flowers that bloom a few weeks later than most. The statuesque Pink Sound blooms in April and May, and makes excellent cut flowers.
