Real Cut Christmas Trees

Here at Longacres, we’ve sourced the best quality Nordmann Fir for our cut Christmas trees. We love this tree because it offers a strong and deep green needle, and they’re non drop.

Our cut trees should last at least four weeks but it’s important they’re well cared for. Although they don’t have any roots, they need to be watered as the trunk can still absorb water. If you’re not putting your tree up straight away, make sure it’s stored somewhere dry and cool, the needles might be non-drop but that will be severely tested if it’s left in the garden to endure a British winter storm.

When you’re ready to bring it in and decorate it, make sure it’s not going to be sitting anywhere too warm. By keeping the tree in a lower temperature, you’ll help it maintain its needles so avoid the radiator or door next to the kitchen in favour of sitting it next to an external door or window.

The beauty of a real tree is you can trim it to fit your space perfectly. Our real trees start from as small as 4ft and go as large as 12ft.
