Product Details

This pack of 2 Allium Karataviense ‘Purple Crown’ bulbs produce incredible lush green foliage that frame spheres of clustering purple blooms.

These alliums have added wow-factor with foliage that matches the delight of the structural blooms above. With broad grey-green recurved foliage, the wonderful shape of the foliage helps to create an incredible display of shape, colour and surprise with the combination of intricate leaf detailing and the star-burst flowers.

With its compact and neat overall shape, as well as relatively short stems, these flowers work particularly well in pots and containers, or in other confined spaces around the garden. They also suit a range of garden styles, from contemporary to cottage garden.

They make a particularly impactful display when planted in clusters or in drifts and will return year after year to create an effortless and beautiful sight in spring. In addition to this they make excellent cut flowers to enjoy around the home and can also be dried.

To top it off, these flowers have been added to the Royal Horticultural Society Plants for Pollinators Collection, as it is particularly good at attracting bees and other pollinators to your outdoor space.
