The Starlight Express comes in a set of 17; there are 4 train cars, 4 straight tracks and 8 curved tracks. The 4 train cars include a train engine and the last carriage that has a reindeer that circles the carriage. The straight train tracks are 10 inches. The animated features on this festive piece are the headlight from the front of the train, merry script and a reindeer circling around one of the carriages. The headlight casts a soft light when it gets dark, this is perfect to have running through or around a snowy scenery. The train is battery operated which fit 3 AA size (1.5V) batteries. The current this will draw is approximately 85mA at 4.5V.
