Pieris japonica 'Mountain Fire'
Common name: Lily of the valley shrub
With fiery red young foliage in spring, this good-looking, evergreen shrub has little bell-shaped scented white flowers in Spring. It has green leaves.
It likes sun, part shade or light shade, well drained or moist soil and is happy in acid (ericaceous) soil. It is frost hardy.
