Allium Mount Everest – A hardy perennial bulb, grey-green, strap-shaped leaves. Fifty or more white, star-shaped flowers form tightly-packed balls, up to 12cm across, held on tall, ribbed stems in late spring and early summer
Allium are bulbous herbaceous perennials with a strong onion or garlic scent, linear, strap-shaped or cylindrical basal leaves and star-shaped or bell-shaped flowers in an umbel on a leafless stem.
For best results grow Allium Mount Everest in well-drained soil in full sun.
Allium Mount Everest is tall and large (150 cm) so it works well mixed behind or in between other flowers.
Grows to a height of around 150 cm.
Plant from Autumn.
Flowers Spring time.
