WHERE TO USE?
Westland Landscape Bark is a general-purpose quality bark and is ideal for the following:
KEY POINTS
HOW TO USE: Westland Landscape Bark is easily applied by hand.
AS A MULCH: It can be applied at any time, although spring and summer are the best times. Soil should be covered to a minimum depth of 50mm (2”).
EXISTING BEDS & BORDERS: Prepare the border by removing all weeds and debris. Spread a layer of bark 2.5-5cm deep over the area ensuring that the mulch reaches under the plant canopy and covers the root area.
NEW BEDS & BORDERS: Prepare the area by removing all weeds and debris. Spread a layer of bark 2.5-5cm deep over the area.
AFTERCARE FOR BEDS & BORDERS: Remove any annual weeds as they appear. To maintain a good mulch layer, replenish the area with fresh bark annually.
UNDER FRUIT TREES & FRUIT BUSHES: Prepare the area under fruit trees and fruit bushes by removing all weeds and grass. Spread a layer of bark 2.5-5cm deep over the area right up to the tree and bush trunks.
PATHWAYS: Prepare the pathway by removing all weeds and debris. Spread a layer of bark 5cm deep over the path.
AFTERCARE FOR PATHWAYS: Remove any annual weeds as they appear. To maintain a good bark layer, replenish the area with fresh bark annually.

This all depends on how thick you are wanting to lay the Bark. A 2.5cm thickness will provide an approximate coverage of 4sqm and a 5cm thickness would give you an approximate 2sqm coverage.
