Handsome and arching, semi-evergreen shrub has striking pendant red flowers for months in Summer. It has yellow long ,pointed, plum-tinted leaves. There is red fruit.
It likes sun, moist and well drained soil and is happy in acid (ericaceous), alkaline or neutral soil. It is frost hardy.
