Pleasing, summery, evergreen shrub has rounded, maroon-slashed scented white flowers for weeks in Summer. It has green leaves, grey on their underside.
It likes sun, moist but well drained soil and is happy in acid (ericaceous), alkaline or neutral soil. It is frost hardy.
