The Westland Gro-Sure Smart Lawn Feed contains seeds that have not only been covered to protect from bird attacks and non-desirable growing conditions, they have been coated in an Aqua Gel which soaks up to 400 times its own mass in moisture to stop the seeds from drying out while germinating. The additional coat also increases the weight of the seed to help it sink down into the soil again aiding the seeds germination.
