Soft and dense, evergreen perennial (herbaceous) has short columns of pink flowers in Spring. It has variegated grey and green crisp and showy leaves.
It likes part shade or light shade, well drained soil and is happy in acid (ericaceous), alkaline or neutral soil. It is frost hardy.
