Common name: Verbena
Making pretty spots of colour this dainty, semi-evergreen annual or perennial (herbaceous) has domed heads of small scented purple flowers for months in Summer and Autumn. It has green rigid toothy leaves.
It likes sun, moist or well drained soil and is happy in acid (ericaceous), alkaline or neutral soil. It is frost hardy.
