Calathea 'Medallion' is known for its dark green foliage with light green and silver markings on one side and a deep red-purple colour on the underneath, as well as an air purifying plant. It is part of the prayer plant family, because its leaves fold together at night like praying hands.

This plant needs:

• Bright light but not direct sunlight
• Regular watering, keeping the soil damp but not sitting in water but do not let the soil dry out completely
• Prefers a warmer temperature between 18-23ºC
