Common name: Oriental poppy
With unusual and beautiful flowers a sprawling, deciduous perennial (herbaceous) has sumptuous purple flowers in Spring and Summer. It has green foliage.
It likes sun, well drained and dry soil and is happy in acid (ericaceous), alkaline or neutral soil. It is frost hardy.
