Stately but warm this handsome, deciduous perennial (herbaceous) has long cones of warm scented pink flowers in Spring and Summer. It has green whorled leaves.
It likes sun, well drained soil and is happy in acid (ericaceous) or neutral soil. It is frost hardy.
