Product Details

The Growing Success Winter Tree Wash is a natural product that destroys insect, bugs & eggs. This stops any damage happening to both the tree and the fruit in the later season. The wash can be used on all fruit trees & bushes as well as dormant vines under glass.

Q. I have a number of fruit trees (apple, pear and plum) on my allotment and could do with some advice to prevent bugs affecting the fruit. I also suffer from "bitter pitt" on my cooking apples - any suggestions to prevent this? Thanks in advance. John in Ascot.

Before the leaves form on the Fruit Trees, spray the whole Tree with Winter wash. Apply grease bands or grease around the trunk below the first branches. Consider using Pheramone traps in the trees.

All these are preventative measures, I would strongly recommend the Winter wash and the Grease as the most important for dealing with bug problems. Bitter Pitt is caused by calcium deficiency. we will be stocking Chempak calcium mixture for treating this.
