An aromatic dish originating from Gujarat in India. The rich and sour sauce is thickened with lentils and ideal with meat or chicken.
INGREDIENTS: Onions, Lentils, Water, Rapeseed Oil, Peeled Tomatoes, Potatoes, Spices (MUSTARD), Salt, Garlic, Ginger, Sugar, Tomato Puree, Green Peppers, Malt Vinegar (BARLEY), Carrots, Tamarind, Lemon Juice (SULPHITES), Lime, Green Chillies, Fenugreek, Naga Chillies, Acetic & Lactic Acid.
Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan, add 500g prawns and stir fry for 1 min. Pour over the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes, stir occasionally. Equally delicious with beef, lamb, chicken, or just vegetables. Serve with rice or naan bread.
