Soft neck variety with a distinctive strong flavour and a good storer

Planting Depth: 3cm/1 inch

Planting Distance: 10cm/4 inches

Planting Time: Autumn or Spring

Soil/Position: Garlic prefer a well-drained, fertile soil.

Application: Garlic will benefit from an application of general fertilizer into the soil prior to planting. Plant as per instructions. If the garlic is in bulbs break into cloves before planting. Check every few days until growth commences and replant any sets that need replanting

Expert Tip: Garlic is said to act as a deterrent to many garden pests.
